UNIQUE PAINTING OF YOUR CLASSIC CAR
Maybe it's just me, but there's something about carparks and driveways which doesn't really say much about a car's character. Peter's photo was from one of those car shows where hundreds of classic cars are lined up next to each other on concrete.
Because Peter is a surfer and his pride and joy is a 70s EH Panel Van,
I wanted to make a painting which was as much about him as it was about the car. Add surfboards, a backdrop of waves and a headland under a fading sunset and voila - it becomes an artwork rather than just another snapshot.

Why settle for a photo?
It's your car. You've sacrificed weekends and a small fortune to restore it. As an artist, I understand the work and sheer commitment in such a project. To begin, all I need is a good quality photo to work from. I can create an individual landscape which suits your car or I am happy to use photographs which you provide. Perhaps there was a particular trip or occasion which holds special memories? I like to use scenery from the Australian outback because it compliments classic cars extremely well and I guess I just really love painting landscapes! But don't worry, if you really would prefer that concrete driveway painted in I can do that as well.
Prices start at just $490. For an extra $100 I include a hand made and coloured hardwood frame designed to match your car with a metal plaque engraved with your car's details.
